Maxco chain have a unique and patented process that increases the fatigue strength and maximum allowable load of our chain. We call this Superior Capacity Plus^®.

Our second-generation Superior Capacity Plus chain has a patented process that includes a combination of specialized shot-peening, heat treatment, and metallurgy, to increase side plate and pin fatigue strength. Fatigue strength is what gives our chain its “toughness” under repeated loads. Naturally from higher fatigue strengths come increased Maximum Allowable Loads, the most critical figure when determining chain strength in everyday real-world applications.
